    - Ha. I am sure we all know some classmates who are glad that the Coast Guard doesn't print exam grades on licenses either!

  • I'm glad you included number 6. Nothing is more dangerous than a master who has only sailed on one type of vessel. Competence does require a broad range of experience and should be a prerequisite for the job.
