Just wanted to let you know that AN UNOFFICIAL COAST GUARD BLOG has signed an agreement in principle for Unofficial Networks to purchase our little site for $1.2 million. We'd have held out for more, but one of our contributors was recently canned for his blogging activities.

While your assumption is technically correct this post was the tactical implementation of our international strategy which recognizes the need for global diversification and brand awareness.
The technical logistics are a closely guarded secret but the short answer is; we shall be leveraging our vast supply of high interest debt with the ultimate goal of increasing internal inefficiencies. The mechanics of the deal include an equity swap, asset-backed securities, non-convertible indentures and all other means offered prior to the commoditization of the maritime blogosphere and resultant diminishing worth of our core asset.
